KATIE MOORE

Katie Moore is an artist based in East London, working part-time in her shared studio and freelancing as a ceramics teacher. Known for her colorful and playful ceramic sculptures, her work blends her background in illustration with a love for documenting the world around her. Katie’s creative process centers on hand-building clay objects, often inspired by landscapes and natural surroundings. She works from a framework of theatre, often referring to her sculptures as ‘props,’ which are brought to life through vibrant painted backdrops that communicate distinct environments or scenes.

Her work has been featured in Elle Decoration, and she has exhibited with M.A.H. Gallery in London. Katie has also created exclusive collections for Morgans Gallery in Falmouth and Tappan in Los Angeles.

Through her ongoing experimentation with slips and glazes, she continues to push the boundaries of texture, color, and form.
