For me, the process of both designing and making acts as a means to ask questions about the world through furniture and objects.

My practice is based on recognising the responsibility that I have as a creative: the consistent thread through all of my different project is making what can be found or sourced locally, whether that is waste plasterboard from building sites, or timber offcuts from local workshops and businesses.

My studio is based in northeast London - I treat the city as a “pantry” of materials to play with. I feel that these waste materials have a commonality in how they have been discarded by others, and my approach is to imbue them with new value by elevating them into beautiful objects.

I want to engage people’s curiosity with what I make, intrigue them with fun forms and materials.
